The Society’s biggest event each year is the Bitterroot Celtic Games & Gathering, held on the third full weekend of August at the Daly Mansion in Hamilton. The Games feature Highland athletics, music, dance, clan gatherings, tastings, and family activities, making it a premier Celtic event in western Montana.

The Bitterroot Celtic Society is entirely volunteer-run, with a board, officers, and committee members handling everything from athletics and clans to tastings, vendors, hospitality, and signage.
We meet regularly—typically on the 3rd Thursday of each month at BJ’s Restaurant in Hamilton at 6 pm—to plan upcoming events and coordinate committees. Community members interested in helping are encouraged to attend a meeting or reach out through the Contact page.
